This album from 1969 remains one of my favorites, and these are 3 of my favorite songs from the album. Gram Parsons had an outsize influence on the music world for the relatively short time he was with us. He died at age 26 in 1973 of a drug and alcohol overdose. In addition to this band, The Flying Burrito Brothers, he played with the Byrds, Emmylou Harris, and others.
